10 Lord, why ·are you [^Ldo you stand] so far away?
    Why do you hide ·when there is [^Lin times of] ·trouble [distress]?
² Proudly the wicked ·chase down [hunt down; persecute] ·those who suffer [or the poor].
    Let them be caught in ·their own traps [^Lthe schemes they have thought up].
³ They ·brag [boast] about the ·things they want [^Lcravings/desires of their soul].
    ·They bless the greedy but [or The greedy curse and] ·hate [reject] the Lord.
